All ages and abilities are welcome! Our community includes families, friends and medical team members of need knowers, and assistive devices. We include students, youth groups and trained profesionals, volunteering as designers, makers and testers, translators, instructors and support staff. Together we share open source designs instructions and curriculum shared using a creative commons license. We innovate customized solutions that we always give away for free.
We use emerging technology, affordable household items, and service learning to create positive change in the world!
In the process, many find mentors, gain personal experience that shapes their educational and professional outlook, and develop workforce skills with emerging technologies, including: robotics, 3D scanning, 3D printing, plastics recycling, wearables, lasers, coding, the internet of Things/loT, blockchain.
We are dedicated to supporting underserved communities, with a focus on empowering women and other minorities with valuable skills and access to new technologies that will help them realize their full potential.
